Coors Light Creates Custom Presentation Deck Slide To Tell Co-workers To Chill Out | The Drum

Nosy coworkers breathing down your neck while you’re trying to finish an important presentation? Coors Light has a new tool for you to use: the ‘CoorSlide.’

Coors Light is (literally) sliding into the workplace with the ‘CoorSlide,’ an image that can be inserted into a Google Slides presentation, which is designed “to tell your coworkers to (respectfully) go chill.”

For many of us, it’s a common experience: you’re working after-hours on a presentation, trying to get the fine details into place, when one of your coworkers digitally pops into the shared project as ‘anonymous armadillo’ or ‘anonymous penguin’ or some such. You feel your cortisol levels spike, because now you’re not only feeling the pressure of your looming deadline, you’re also feeling the eyes of this coworker who has apparently just dropped by to see what kind of progress you’ve been making.

Cue the ‘CoorSlide.’ Coors Light – which describes itself as “the beer made to chill” – partnered with Mischief @ No Fixed Address to design this image, which can be inserted directly into a presentation. To make things easier for yourself, the brand recommends dropping it squarely into the slide that your anonymous coworker happens to be viewing at the time. Hopefully, they’ll realize that they are in fact being a bit nosy, and drop out of the presentation so they can grab themselves a beer and await the completion of your presentation from a more laid-back repose. They can also text ‘SLIDE’ to 49375 to score a Coors Light six-pack after rebate.

“As the beer made to chill, we are making it easier to politely tell your coworkers to chill out while collaborating on a presentation with CoorSlide,” said Marcelo Pascoa, vice-president marketing at Molson Coors. “It’s a win-win – you get to finish your work without an anonymous ferret virtually looking over your shoulder and they get an ice-cold Coors Light.”

Mischief creatives Rafa Beretta and Rapha Franzini added: “We’ve had two years of anonymous ferret all up in our cyber business, digitally hovering over our shoulders in shared docs. Look, it’ll be ready when it’s ready – until then, chill with a Coors Light. Thank you.”
