Crocs is giving away more pairs to healthcare workers. (Crocs)

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues across the globe, Crocs continues to do its part to help healthcare workers on the front lines.

The company known for its distinctive casual footwear for women, men and children has donated nearly 1 million free pairs of shoes to healthcare heroes since spring of 2020.

This week, as part of National Nurses Day on Friday and National Nurses Week (May 6-12), Crocs is giving away more free shoes.

“Most of us today now get to live comfortably thanks to their tireless efforts, but we want to recognize that healthcare professionals are still taking care of our community day in and day out,” Crocs Inc. said in statement, “We are grateful to those who continue to respond and want to let you know we are still with you.”

Crocs gave away 10,000 pairs of shoes a day to healthcare workers in the early stages of the pandemic in March 2020.

This time around, Crocs has teamed up with FIGS to give away Classic Crocs shoes and scrubs from noon on Friday, May 6, to noon on Thursday, May 12.

Eligible healthcare heroes can sign up for the free shoes, here. Shipping is free.
