Marvel’s Avengers adds a new comic-inspired skin for The Incredible Hulk, with the gamma monster’s latest look giving him some bunny slippers.
As Marvel’s Avengers fans wait for more playable content to be added to the game, Crystal Dynamics has continued to release cosmetics for its struggling live service title. The latest outfit is for none other than the Hulk, and it sees the Marvel’s Avengers hero looking a lot less intimidating than he normally does.
In recent months, Marvel’s Avengers has added a good mix of comic book and MCU-inspired cosmetics. One of the most recent comic book looks focused on Hulk, and it saw players able to portray Worldbreaker Hulk inside the game. The latest attire for Hulk is also inspired by the comics, though it sees him getting a makeover that is far from what one would expect from a Hulk skin. This is largely due to his cute and cuddly choice of footwear.

The new Marvel’s Avengers skin for The Incredible Hulk sees him wearing adorable pink bunny slippers, with the slippers in question featuring some floppy ears and cheerful faces. They are also visibly soft, with some solid texture work done to ensure that they stand out. Dubbed “Bunnies and Bandoliers,” the slippers are undoubtedly what draw attention to the outfit, though there are some other aspects of this new skin that are interesting as well.
Alongside some brown pants, a black shirt, and a pouch on his side, The Hulk can be seen wielding a futuristic rifle on his back. This is a reference to Marvel Comics, and more specifically The Incredible Hulk #390. In this issue, Hulk helped fight in a fictional war and encountered a soldier trapped under a cannon. Not only did he remove the cannon and save the character’s life, but he began to wield the cannon in battle. This gun is represented via the weapon on Hulk’s back, with a bandolier full of ammo placed around his chest to help bring the look together.
Obviously, Marvel’s Avengers’ skins are purely cosmetic, so this look does not allow Hulk to start using a gun in combat. In the comments, many praised the outfit for its unique look and willingness to get a bit silly, though some fans did request new outfits for Captain America and Black Panther. Both heroes are in desperate need of fresh cosmetics, and with Hulk essentially getting two skins back to back, it would be nice to see Cap and the King of Wakanda get a bit more love. Hopefully, these requests are met in the near future.
As for the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers content unrelated to cosmetics, players can expect to play as The Mighty Thor Jane Foster at the end of June. In the following update, a co-op version of the MODOK boss fight will finally be available via an Omega Level Threat.
