NOTHING DOING: Fordham men, Loyola in scoreless draw - Front Row Soccer

After waiting out the poor weather from Monday, the Fordham University men finally met Loyola n Tuesday morning as the teams played to a scoreless draw at the Ridley Sports Complex in Baltimore, Md.

The Rams (2-1-3) tested Loyola goalkeeper Alex Bobocea on multiple occasions in the first half, as he recorded four saves during that span.

The Greyhounds (2-1-2) returned the favor in the second half, as Fordham’s Demetri Skoumbakis was called upon to stop three shots on goal.

The match had a physical flavor to it with 27 fouls and seven cautions.

Loyola ended the match with an 18-9 shot advantage.

Fordham hosts the University of Rhode Island to begin Atlantic 10 play at Jack Coffey Field on Saturday at 7 p.m.
