There must be an explanation for this bizarre sweatsuit. Was it for a photo shoot? Was she filming a music video? Nope, Camila Cabello was just grabbing dinner with her mom in Santa Monica, California, in June when she opted to wear this atrocious orange set of coordinates — complete with fuzzy pom-poms on the sleeves. Finishing off her puzzling look? Some cream slides.

Emily Ratajkowski rocked a cute cream matching three-piece set while out in New York City in June. The brunette beauty's ensemble included a bandeau, a jacket and high-waisted pants that she finished off with white sneakers.

Yikes! What's happening here, Bella Hadid? The model wore this odd pairing — a blue-and-white collared sweatshirt with a mismatched knee-length plaid skirt — with high socks and black Adidas sneakers while stepping out during Paris Fashion Week in March.

Lucy Boynton treated a sporting event like a fashion show when she donned this sweet little white Chanel number at the Wimbledon tennis championships in London in July. Her sleeveless knee-length frock included romantic scalloped edges and a black bow detail that she complemented with strappy black Mary Janes and a bold red bag.

Pantashoes aren't our favorite trend, but Kim Kardashian showed the right way to rock the funky style in July when she stepped out in Paris sporting this bold camouflage-patterned shirt with matching neon green pantashoes.

We're still thinking about the Acne Studios black leather coat with burnt orange flame details that Hailey Bieber wore in Los Angeles back in February. The model's outerwear covered a black Miaou leather corset worn atop baggy Maryam Nassir Zadeh jeans. Pointy-toe pumps completed this edgy ensemble.

Guess who? One of our favorite fashion misses, Rita Ora, wore this puzzling getup in March while shopping in Beverly Hills. The star's cropped graphic tee and high-waisted knee-length skirt with a bizarre motif was bad enough… but she continued her fashion offenses with clownish sunglasses and fuzzy slippers.

Alessandra Ambrosio showed off ideal on-holiday style during the Cannes Film Festival in May. The supermodel selected a sleeveless white minidress complete with lace trim and cutouts and a plunging neckline and added tan braided sandals, shades and a tiny white bag.

Rihanna showed off her baby bump style across continents during the first several months of 2022, but this look she wore in February was one of the wildest. The superstar was spotted out in Los Angeles in a furry crop top worn underneath a coat comprised of different fur patterns with low-rise jeans and strappy sandals buckled over top.

Sofia Vergara arrived for work in April in this pretty pairing. The "America's Got Talent" judge tucked a simple black T-shirt into a brightly patterned Versace midi-length skirt then added a dash of metallic with silver platforms.

Dua Lipa baffled the fashion world with this look! While out in New York City in March, the pop star sported this bizarre Y Project dress — a long-sleeved and collared funky frock that included a circular cutout at the waist. If that wasn't quirky enough, pairing it with a baseball hat, high socks and chunky sneakers cemented this one as a miss.

Elle Fanning is one of our favorite stars to watch on the red carpet, so it's no surprise her street style is killer too. The fashionista rocked this simple long-sleeved white frock outside the Martinez Hotel during the Cannes Film Festival in May. Though we loved the pops of red via her lip shade and that Gucci bag, the only element we couldn't get behind was her shoe selection. Heeled flip flops? No thanks!

It's unclear if Julia Fox forgot part of her outfit as she stepped out in Los Angeles in May, or if she meant to wear just a bra and underwear underneath a denim coat. She added knee-high matching denim boots too and appeared to be carrying another denim item (maybe a pair of jeans?) while strolling in her odd ensemble.

Jennifer Lawrence epitomized easy, breezy new-mom summer style while going for a stroll in New York City in July. The movie star rocked a simple white tee with high-waisted, wide-legged tan trousers that included a pretty floral detail at the hemline above her strappy brown sandals. Rectangular shades and a simple brown tote bag rounded out this perfect warm-weather getup.

Kaia Gerber showed that it's still possible to rock a long-sleeved shirt in the summer and stay (and look!) cool when she stepped out in New York City in July wearing this blue collared button-down with a navy miniskirt, slouchy socks and sneakers.

Emily Ratajkowski served up a fashion misstep in New York City in February. The model topped her black turtleneck and ripped denim with a very unfortunate yellow-and-black zebra-striped coat and added sneakers for a seriously underwhelming street style moment.

Jennifer Lopez gave us a delightful fashion surprise while out and about in Los Angeles in May — suspenders! She rocked gray trousers with the odd accessory over top a white T-shirt and added sneakers for a very un-J.Lo look (that she still pulled off!).

Gigi Hadid showed how to rock printed pants when she stepped out in New York City in June in these amazing checkered trousers that cut at the ankle. She otherwise kept her look super simple, letting the pants have the spotlight, adding just a white sweater and chic pointy-toe slingback flats.

Olivia Rodrigo showed off some unique Gen Z style while visiting New York City in April. The pop star rocked this surprising color combination — a blue printed sweater vest over top a simple white T-shirt paired with a purple plaid pleated skirt — for a look that we don't get but might be too old for. Finishing things off for this youthful number? A pair of tiny shades, high socks and creepers.

Eva Longoria certainly showed off a polished way to wear sweats when she stepped out in New York City in February in this chic look. Her all-black sweatsuit worn underneath a dressier black coat made for a cool combination, and the ultimate cool sneaker — a pair of Yeezys — finished things off.

Kim Kardashian showed off a trend we didn't love this year — printed pantashoes — while out in New York City in June. She wore this funky skintight red, white and blue Balenciaga pair with a cropped white T-shirt tied in the back for a strange, futuristic street style moment.

Dakota Johnson proved double denim can be cool while out in Santa Monica, California, in January. The actress paired cutoff straight-legged jeans with an oversized shearling-trimmed denim jacket, tall black socks and loafers while clutching a coffee.

Nicky Hilton Rothschild sported quite a confusing combo in New York City in January. The star donned a camel turtleneck sweater with jeans and brown boots then topped it off with both a classic piece and a funky trendy one — a black Hermes Birkin bag and Monse's double-breasted herringbone rope coat.

Impossibly cool Lori Harvey served up a perfectly laid-back look this summer in Los Angeles. The beauty stepped out in June in this white bralette and high-waisted crossover wide-legged jeans and added a billowy white unbuttoned blouse over top. A sleek updo, dark sunglasses, tan Hermes sandals and a basket purse put the perfect finish on this outfit.

Sydney Sweeney stepped out in New York City in January in this cute look — a red-and-white striped-and-checkered combo that she topped with a black coat and shiny black knee-high boots.

We've got a lot of questions, Anne Hathaway. The Oscar winner stepped out in New York City in April in a short-sleeved sweater worn atop a collared blue blouse then added cuffed khaki pants and white sneakers for an odd and preppy look.

Jessica Alba showed off perfectly polished street style while visiting New York City in May. The movie star-turned-mogul selected a crisp white T-shirt worn underneath a striped unbuttoned shirt then added dark bellbottom jeans and pointy-toe white pumps. When it came time to accessorize, she jazzed things up with tortoiseshell shades, hoop earrings and not one but two bags.

We're obsessed with Sofia Vergara's shearling coat! The actress rocked the creamy outerwear over top cream sweatpants and a graphic T-shirt and completed her cute and cozy winter look with bold gold-and-white sneakers while out and about in Beverly Hills in January.

Camila Cabello often serves up fashion misses, so this look she sported during an outing in New York City in April wasn't a surprise. The singer wore a neon green turtleneck over top a Disney bomber jacket and questionable bottoms obscured by a fanny pack, then added pale orange sneakers and thin shades. What a mishmash of a getup!

Kendall Jenner covered up in chic style while spending time in Paris in February. The beauty zipped up the dark brown leather jacket she wore over a black turtleneck then added perfect-fitting straight-leg jeans and matching brown boots. She topped everything off with a baseball hat for a perfect model off-duty look.

Crochet lady! Addison Rae left the gym in Los Angeles in March in this questionable getup that included a fringed rainbow beanie. Yep, the social media star added the odd headwear to her cropped tee and black trousers combo then finished things off with black Uggs and a couple matching knitted items still in progress.

Hailey Bieber continuously nails athleisure, and this high-low casual fashion combo is a perfect example of why. She stepped out in Los Angeles after a workout in January in this stellar monochromatic ensemble — a puffy Prada coat with a matching bandeau paired with high-waisted Alo leggings. She also added slouchy socks and chunky Aime Leon Dore x New Balance sneakers.

A drop top that read angel energy, a clownishly oversized beanie, a blazer, leather trousers and a bedazzled belt… would you expect anything different from Rita Ora? The singer wore this outlandish combination in Los Angeles in April.

Jennifer Lopez showed off her cool, casual style in Los Angeles in January when she stepped out in this high-waisted multi-hued denim maxiskirt. She paired the statement piece with a simple tan cropped turtleneck for an ideal L.A. winter look.

What in the Guy Fieri is happening here, Bella Hadid? The beauty stepped out in New York City wearing a relatively normal look in January — jeans, a lime green long-sleeved shirt underneath a black sweater and boots — but opted to top it off with, well, a beanie with flames on it.

Olivia Rodrigo mixed black and white in a cool way while out in Santa Monica, California, in June. The singer wore a crocheted cardigan buttoned only half-way with a pair of white ankle-length bellbottom trousers and added chunky black platform shoes to finish it off.

A summer look we didn't love? Emily Ratajkowski scored a fashion miss in June while out in New York City in this colorful tank that she inexplicably topped with a coral cardigan tied at her neck. She finished her outfit with a pair of not-hot-weather-friendly black trousers and sneakers.

Delilah Hamlin's summer look started out so strong! The beauty stepped out in Los Angeles in July in this sweet butterfly-print slip dress and looked angelic while clutching a bouquet of flowers — but things went south at her ankles: She paired the pretty frock with slouchy white socks and chunky black sneakers.

Paris Hilton was spotted in this questionable getup — a matching gray-and-black sweatsuit — in Los Angeles in June. Aside from not being cute, we were confused as to why the star sported such a covered-up look in the Southern California heat.

Emily Ratajkowski showed off perfect holiday style while leaving her hotel during the Cannes Film Festival in May. The model wore this sleeveless printed midi-length dress covered in butterflies, suns and other cheery designs and wisely paired it with white sneakers for a laid-back feel.

Alessandra Ambrosio gave us a good example of casual layers as she stepped out in New York City in June. The model sported a beige Maria Vittoria buttoned-up vest with some wide-legged, high-waisted Magda Butrym trousers. She added the shoe of the season — chunky slides — from Bottega Veneta and some layered jewelry plus a lime green Fendi bag to complete her polished look.

We're so glad this look that Kendall Jenner wore in Los Angeles in March didn't become a trend. From the horrendous heeled Simon Miller flip flops to the ruffled and high-waisted Jacquemus skirt paired with a black cropped tank and a pair of tiny shades, there wasn't any element of this look we liked.

Sienna Miller showed off some fabulous Wimbledon style in July, selecting this sweet off-the-shoulder Ralph Lauren Collection dress for the sporting event. We loved the frock's delicate lace accents and the edgy accessories she used to jazz it up: a black belt and snakeskin heeled sandals.

Selena Gomez sported this sweet pale yellow minidress, complete with bell sleeves, while in London in July. She added strappy pale blue heels for another pop of color and gold hoops to complete this chic summer look.

Jumpsuits can be tricky. Ellie Goulding's shiny eggplant pick was one of our least favorite this year. The singer wore the one-piece look, which included patches of red and purple, while out and about in London in July.

Kaia Gerber elevated this low-key ensemble with an oversized vest when she stepped out in Los Angeles in January. The outerwear stepped up her otherwise super-simple look — a gray sweatshirt, black leggings and slouchy socks and sneakers.

Those are some very baggy jeans, Maria Menounos! The star arrived for a taping of "Live with Kelly and Ryan" in New York City in May in these unfortunate dark jeans — wide-legged with giant holes at the knee — and topped them with a white T-shirt and cropped black leather jacket.

Karlie Kloss exemplified super-polished street style while out and about in New York City in January. She rocked a white turtleneck underneath a taupe-hued coat and accessorized with white over-the-knee boots and an Hermes Birkin bag.

Kendall Jenner stepped out in Los Angeles in January in a mature combination — a T-shirt and sweater vest with straight-leg jeans and boots — and completed it with an uncharacteristically understated bag.

Julia Fox continued her questionable fashion streak this year in a funky V-shaped top she wore in New York City in June. She added super-low-waisted baggy jeans and square-toed boots… and also showed off her newly bleached eyebrows.

Sometimes less is more! Take this super-simple ensemble that Emily Ratajkowski wore while in Cannes, France, in May. The beauty slipped into something most people already own — a black T-shirt — paired with straight-leg jeans and brown loafers for a classically cool getup.
