Many people customize their Crocs using Jibbitz, which are small decorations that can be mounted to the holes in a pair of the brand’s classic clogs. (BestReviews)

Choosing the best Crocs for your look isn't easy, especially with the company now offering such a wide range of footwear options. If this is your first pair of Crocs, it may be worth going after the company's classic clog, while veteran Crocs users may want something more unique.

Offering a comfortable design in a variety of colors, the Classic Crocs Clogs are a great place to start if you're new to Crocs.

Depending on how you plan to use your Crocs and who they're for, certain types may be preferable for you. For example, those wanting Crocs for work may benefit from the company's closed-toe shoe designs. Others may look at some of the company's sandals as the best options for them. Still, those with no particular needs or a combination may prefer the classic Crocs clogs, which is what the company is known for.

Croslite is a material created and patented by Crocs. It's the soft material that has made the Crocs brand what it is today. This material is a closed-cell resin that’s extremely soft despite being fairly durable. Users have described the material as a cross between foam and rubber, featuring both a firm and a squishy quality.

When buying Crocs, your shoe size is just as important to identify as with any other shoe. Crocs only include whole sizes, whereas many shoe companies also have half sizes. While the vast majority of Crocs are unisex and will include both a men’s and women’s shoe size, some may require a conversion or sizing chart. Crocs also offers a variety of shoes in sizes ranging from children’s sizes to an adult 17.

Crocs come in a wide range of colors. They range from solid neutrals to bright hues. If solid colors aren’t what you’re looking for, you can also find multicolored options bearing two to five separate solid colors in the design.

On top of offering a range of color options, Crocs also come with several different print designs. Most Crocs print designs include multicolored options with significant patterns or visual textures. You can find common Crocs prints using patterns such as florals, camouflage, tie-dye and much more.

Crocs can be found at a range of price points, with cheap Crocs in sandal configurations costing as little as $20-$25. Mid-range Crocs clogs usually end up costing between $25 and $50, while high-end Crocs may include sneakers, boots or other shoe types at over $50.

A. There's no denying Crocs are super comfortable, but whether they are good for your feet or not is still up for debate. Depending on the needs of your feet, the breathability, softness and arch support offered by Crocs may be beneficial. However, Crocs aren't necessarily designed to be used for all-day use, as detailed by some podiatrists.

A. Crocs tend to run fairly true to size, especially compared to some other brands that run big or small. However, it's worth noting that the company doesn't make half sizes. Still, most found the right size without needing half sizes. If you're unsure what size you need, you can also check the official Crocs sizing chart on its website.

Crocs Unisex Adult Classic Colored Clogs: available at Amazon

Our take: Most love the classic Crocs design, featuring a utility strap that can be pushed forward or backward. Its breathable design has holes for optimal comfort.

What we like: These shoes are made of comfortable material, have holes for extra airflow and can be used in wet or dry environments. They come in more than 20 colors.

What we dislike: With such a wide range of design prints and other options available, some buyers didn't like the regular solid color Crocs clogs.

Crocs Unisex Adult Classic Slide Sandals: available at Amazon

Our take: These unisex slide sandals are a great low-key shoe option.

What we like: These classic slides are just as comfortable as classic Crocs clogs, sporting the same Croslite material. They also come in over 35 different colors and designs.

What we dislike: These Crocs aren't as conducive to as many different activities as the classic clogs or the company's shoes are.

Crocs Unisex Adult Classic All-Terrain Colored Clogs: available at Amazon

Our take: If you plan to take your Crocs outside the house, it might be worth considering these all-terrain Crocs clogs.

What we like: These Crocs clogs feature a little extra traction on the sole than the regular design. Depending on which of the all-terrain exclusive designs you go with, some are cheaper than the classic clogs.

What we dislike: These aren't that much more terrain-friendly than regular Crocs, so some decided to go for the classic clog instead.
