An OG colourway returns for this golf shoe release.

Early images have emerged of new Air Jordan 1 Low Golf shoes dressed in the OG "Shattered Backboard" colours, leaving many fans wondering if Nike has revealed the release date yet.

Although Michael Jordan's love of golf has been well-documented in the past, his passion has only really been reflected through his sportswear brand in recent years.

However, it would seem the brand is making up for any lost time in 2022 after announcing new laser-print and suede NRG golf shoes are coming our way alongside these OG "Shattered Backboard" 1s, all of which are strong contenders to feature as some of the best Jordan golf shoes around.

With that being said, here's everything we know about the upcoming Jordan 1 Low Golf shoes so far...

Nike has yet to reveal any details regarding the release of these Jordan golf shoes; however, reports state that a launch will likely take place before the summer ends.

In fact, some outlets are predicting their arrival on 8 June 2022, although this date is yet to be confirmed by the brand.

With more information likely to be revealed soon, make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping this article updated with the latest announcements as and when they arrive.

As mentioned, these Jordan golf shoes draw inspiration from one of the best Jordan 1 colourways of all time - the "Shattered Backboard".

The name comes from Italy 1985 when Jordan tore the house down with a standout performance rounded off by literally shattering a backboard.

To commemorate the occasion, Jordan created the "Shattered Backboard" colourway dressed in the colours of the jersey Michael wore during the European tour.

The sneakers, therefore, combine a mix of white and black with bright orange accents, most notably across the toe boxes and heels.

You also get bright orange rubber outsoles which have been adapted with improved grip patterns to increase traction on a golf course.

Finally, the usual Nike branding on the tongues has been replaced by orange Jumpman golf logos to round off these unique Jordan 1 low-tops in typical golfing fashion.

With so little known about the "Shattered Backboard" golf shoes, it's unsurprising to learn that the price tag has yet to be disclosed by the brand.

That said, the sneakers are expected to launch with a $140 retail price based on previous Jordan golf shoe releases.

Stay tuned for further price updates right here.

We believe one of the first places you'll likely find these "Shattered Backboard" low-tops is at the Nike store, presumably under the Jordan of golf subsections.

It may also be worth keeping an eye on the SNKRS page and signing up for any push notifications as soon as listings go live so you're completely prepared for their upcoming arrival.

You could also check out the resale market on StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful.
